Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2012101600A2] A method and device whereby a bundle (2) of sheets with a row of through holes (3) is bound manually, with a strip (5) of flexible material having an adhesive face (10) and lateral 'comblike' teeth (7), by : inserting the bundle (2) inside a pocket (15), so the holes (3) project outwards of an inner wall (16) of the pocket (15), the top sheet (3a) in the bundle (2) faces an outer wall (17) of the pocket (15), and an end portion (3b) of the top sheet projects outwards of the outer wall (17); inserting the teeth (7) through the holes (3), with the strip (5) positioned on a flat folding device (39); and rotating the folding device (39) manually to fold the strip (5) and the end portions (9) of the teeth (7), to stick the adhesive face (10) of the strip (5) to the end portion (3b) of the top sheet (3a), and to grip the folded end portions (9) of the teeth (7) between the strip (5) and the top sheet (3a).
