Abstract (en)
The device (2) i.e. free-standing mixing device, has two supports (8) including bearing areas with two rotational degrees of freedom, without substantial translatory effect. A joint bearing mounts the supports to the chassis (4) and another joint bearing mounts a receiving device (6) to the supports. The bearings include a guidance device (28) for guiding the rotation of the receiving device relative to the chassis during the mixing movement. The bearings are spaced apart from each other with a rotational degree of freedom. The joint bearings are selected from any of a universal joint and a ball joint. An independent claim is also included for a method for mixing contents of laboratory vessels.

Mischvorrichtung zum Mischen von Laborgefäßinhalten mit einer Aufnahmevorrichtung (6) zum Aufnehmen von Mischgut und mit einem Antrieb (20, 22), durch den sich die Aufnahmevorrichtung relativ gegenüber einem Chassis (4) in eine Mischbewegung (18) versetzen lässt, bei der sich die Aufnahmevorrichtung auf einer geschlossenen Bahn, periodisch zu einer bestimmten Lage in einer bestimmten Ausrichtung im Raum wiederkehrend, bewegt, und mit einer Lagerung, die die Aufnahmevorrichtung in der Mischbewegung führt, wobei die Lagerung mindestens zwei Stützen (8, 10, 12, 14, 60, 62, 64) aufweist jeweils mit zwei voneinander beabstandeten Gelenklagern (16) in Form von elastischen Stababschnitten, die jeweils keine translatorischen und mindestens zwei rotatorische Freiheitsgrade aufweisen, von denen das eine Gelenklager die Stütze am Chassis lagert und das andere die Aufnahmevorrichtung an der Stütze, und weiter eine Führungseinrichtung (28, 30, 32) aufweist, die während der Mischbewegung die Verdrehung der Aufnahmevorrichtung relativ zum Chassis führt.
