[origin: EP2669060A1] The tool has a pneumatic striking mechanism (6) including a motor-driven exciter (12), a guide tube (18) and a striker (13). A pneumatic spring (15) is provided inside the guide tube between the exciter and the striker and circumferentially pressure-tight sealed by an inner surface of the guide tube. A piston is arranged by the exciter and the striker and guided by the inner surface. Recesses have depth between 10 micrometer and 100 micrometer. An inner surface of the guide tube has multiple molded depressions.
