[origin: EP2670213A2] The induction heating device (12) has five independent induction heating groups (20,22,24,26,28) An electronic unit (16) is provided for the induction heating groups to supply maximum of two different power supplies (30,40). The electronic unit is provided with two heating frequency modules (32,42) to supply energy from different power supplies to induction heating groups. The heating frequency modules are provided with circuit boards. An independent claim is included for a method for operating induction heating device.
