[origin: WO2012103883A1] The invention relates to a contact-making apparatus for establishing electrical contact between a conductor or a plurality of conductors of a cable which is to be connected and a plug connector, comprising an insulating body (1) which can be inserted into a chamber (30) of a plug connector housing (40) which is provided for this purpose, and at least one pressure piece (3) which is suitable for receiving at least one conductor, wherein the at least one pressure piece (3) is connected to the insulating body (1) in a pivotable and articulated manner, and wherein the insulating body (1) comprises at least one recess (2) which in turn contains at least one insulation-displacement terminal (10), and wherein the pressure piece (3) can be recessed in the at least one recess (2) in the insulating body (1), and therefore the insulation-displacement terminal (10) makes electrical contact with the end portion of the conductor.
