Abstract (en)
The wheelchair has upper and lower front suspension arms (6a, 6b) and upper and lower rear suspension arms (12a, 12b) connected by pivots (P1, P1', P2, P2') to a chassis and to support assemblies (8, 14) of front and rear wheels (10, 16), respectively. A connecting rod (24) connects one of the front arms to one of the rear arms, and converts rotational movement of the front arm into a reverse rotational movement of the rear arm, so that any pitching movement of the chair is converted into a vertical movement of a seat parallel to a plane formed by bearing points of the wheels on the ground.

Ce fauteuil (1) comprend un châssis (2), deux bras (6a, 6b) de suspension avant reliés par une liaison pivot (P1, P1') au châssis (2) et par une liaison pivot (P2, P2') à un ensemble (8) de support d'une roue avant (10), deux bras (12a, 12b) de suspension arrière reliés par une liaison pivot (P3, P3') au châssis (2) et par une liaison pivot (P4, P4') à un ensemble (14) de support d'une roue arrière (16), et des moyens de liaison agencés pour relier l'un des bras (6a, 6b) de suspension avant à l'un des bras (12a, 12b) de suspension arrière et transformer chaque mouvement de rotation de ce bras (6a, 6b) de suspension avant par rapport au châssis (2) en un mouvement de rotation inverse par rapport au châssis (2) du bras (12a, 12b) de suspension arrière auquel il est relié par les moyens de liaison, et réciproquement.
