Abstract (en)
The package has a film casing forming a closed packaging space for a product, which forms gas i.e. carbon dioxide, within the package by metabolism. The film casing comprises a two-layer portion i.e. chamber, that is limited at an inner side of the package by a gas-permeable inner film (1) and at an outer side of the package by gas-impermeable packaging material (2), where the gas is permeated by the inner film. A cavity (3) of the casing is limited by the packaging material and the inner film and formed as a gas pad after opening the package to partially or completely stiffen the casing.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verpackung eines Produktes, welches innerhalb der Verpackung ein Gas bildet. Die Verpackung besteht aus einer Folienhülle, die einen geschlossenen Verpackungsraum für das Produkt bildet, wobei die Folienhülle zumindest einen zweilagigen Abschnitt aufweist, der an der Verpackungsinnenseite von einer gaspermeablen Innenfolie (1) und an der Verpackungsaußenseite von einem im Wesentlichen gasundurchlässigen Verpackungsmaterial (2) begrenzt ist. Das von dem Produkt gebildete Gas permeiert durch die Innenfolie (1) und bildet in einem von dem äußeren Verpackungsmaterial (2) und der Innenfolie (1) begrenzten Hohlraum (3) der Folienhülle ein Gaspolster, welches nach einer Öffnung der Verpackung zumindest teilweise erhalten bleibt und die Folienhülle aussteift.
