[origin: WO2012107187A1] The invention relates to the use of manganese or iron complexes which, as well as a tetraoxolene unit, contain two macrocyclic, N-containing ligands, especially cyclen or cyclam ligands, in washing and cleaning compositions in the form of granules or powder or solution or suspension for bleaching of coloured stains both on textiles and on hard surfaces. The invention also relates to washing and cleaning compositions which comprise such complexes as bleach activators and to the use thereof for textile washing or for dishwashing detergents and other uses in personal care and other areas.
