[origin: WO2012107768A1] A stopper is disclosed for minimising a backflow of fluid into a toilet bowl through an outlet of the toilet bowl. The stopper comprises an arm and a bung disposed at a distal end of the arm which is arranged to substantially seal the outlet to close the outlet. The stopper further comprises means disposed at a proximal end of the arm which is arranged to engage with a rim of the toilet within the toilet bowl, to secure the stopper within the toilet bowl.
