Abstract (en)

The arrangement (10) has a measuring head (13) provided with two measuring modules (14) for formation of a measuring section. A continuous strand passage channel (15) extends in the head in a conveyance direction (F). A strand guiding unit is attached to the head, and the modules are connected to an evaluation unit (18). The modules are arranged in a common housing (19) of the head. The modules are attached at a base plate (20) of the housing over electrical or pneumatic plug connections. Multiple slots (21) are pluggable with module carriers (22) according to partial free slot selection. An independent claim is also included for a strand units for manufacturing strands and/or strand portions in a tobacco processing industry.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Messmodul (10), ausgebildet und eingerichtet zum Messen von in Strangmaschinen (11) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie hergestellten und in Förderrichtung F transportierten Strängen (12) und/oder Strangabschnitten, umfassend ein Gehäuse (13), mindestens einen Strangdurchlaufkanal (14), mindestens ein in dem Gehäuse (13) angeordnetes und auf den oder jeden Strangdurchlaufkanal (14) gerichtetes Messmittel (15) sowie ein Mittel (16) zum Einbringen von Reinigungsluft RL in den Strangdurchlaufkanal (14), das sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass in jedem Strangdurchlaufkanal (14) ein ausschließlich dem Messmodul (10) zugeordneter Schutzrohrabschnitt (17) angeordnet ist, wobei sich der Schutzrohrabschnitt (17) von einem Einlaufbereich E des oder jedes Strangs (12) in den Strangdurchlaufkanal (14) bis zu einem Auslaufbereich A des oder jedes Strangs (12) aus dem Strangdurchlaufkanal (14) erstreckt. Die Erfindung betrifft des Weiteren eine Messanordnung (25) mit einem solchen Messmodul (10) sowie eine Strangmaschine (11) mit einer solchen Messanordnung (25).
