Die Erfindung betrifft einen Überzieher für ein Bein, Fuß und/oder Sprunggelenk, insbesondere zum Schutz vor Verletzungen sowie ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines solchen Überziehers. Der Überzieher ist aus zwei doppelwandig über einander gelegten oder ineinander gesteckten Socken oder Strümpfen ausgebildet und derart fest oder lösbar miteinander verbunden, dass dadurch Schutzvorrichtungen für Bein, Fuß und/oder Fußgelenk insbesondere Einlagen zum Schutz eines Schienbeins, eines Knöchels, einer Achillessehne und/oder einer Wade auf dem unteren Strumpf angebracht werden können oder in Taschen (5, 6, 7) bzw. Einschüben fest oder lösbar fixiert werden können.
