[origin: EP2674675A1] The adapter (1) connects a heater exhaust gas pipe connector (6) with an exhaust gas inlet (7) of recuperator (4) and exhaust gas outlet (8) of recuperator with an adapter exhaust pipe connector (11), where direction of an opening of the heater exhaust gas pipe connector and direction of an opening of the adapter exhaust pipe connector form a right angle and lie in a plane perpendicular to a recuperator rear wall (9). The adapter possesses same extension from the inlet till to the adapter exhaust pipe connector.
