[origin: DE102012002814A1] The machine has a carriage (1) moved along an x-direction with a beam (2) arranged on the carriage. A cutting head holder (3) is movably arranged along a y-direction at the beam for retaining a cutting head (4). Support elements (5.1, 5.2) for retaining a workpiece (6) and a driver (7.1) are attached to the machine. The driver stays in engagement with the workpiece, and produces rolling motion of the workpiece on the support elements. The driver is attached to the carriage, and executes synchronous movement along the x-direction for movement of the carriage.
