[origin: EP2676558A1] The apparatus has a rotationally drivable tube wheel (4) provided in transverse to the longitudinal direction of the strand slotted guide portion (7). The orbital rotational movement of the tube wheel group on passing through a circular-arc portion is performed with respect to a respective the strand cutting knife support in the form of a thrust bearing.
