Abstract (en)
The sealing device (1) has a sealing-tool lower portion (6) with a tray holder (7). A sealing-tool upper portion (3) is provided with a sealing plate (5) and a cutting knife (4). The tray holder includes a support surface for a film web (2) and a reception area (10) as a support for an edge of a tray (8) to be sealed. The reception area is offset relative to the support surface by 5 mm in a direction away from the sealing-tool upper portion, so that the tray holder has integrated a cutting channel (13) into which the cutting knife is inserted for cutting a film web. An independent claim is included for a method for sealing a tray in a sealing device.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Siegelvorrichtung (1), die ein Siegelwerkzeugunterteil (6) und ein Siegelwerkzeugoberteil (3) umfasst, wobei das Siegelwerkzeugunterteil (6) eine Schalenaufnahme (7) und das Siegelwerkzeugoberteil (3) eine Siegelplatte (5) und ein Schneidmesser (4) aufweist. Die Siegelvorrichtung (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass in die Schalenaufnahme (7) ein Schneidkanal (13) integriert ist, in den das Schneidmesser (4) zum Schneiden einer Folienbahn (2) eintauchen kann.
