Abstract (en)
An aspect of the invention is related to an apparatus (100) for processing a fabric tape (900). The apparatus (100) includes a body (101) having a roller (201 to 203 and 306A to 310B) and a tensioning device (204, 205 and 301 to 304). The roller is rotatable relative to the body for moving a tape (900) along its lengthwise direction. The tensioning device (204, 205 and 301 to 304) is cooperable with the roller (201 to 203 and 306A to 310B) to exert a tensioning force along the length of the tape (900). The roller (201 to 203 and 306A to 310B) has means adapted to exert a tensioning force on the tape (900) both along and transverse to its length.
