[origin: EP2677100A2] The sliding door assembly (1) has several sliding wings (2) which are arranged at a guide rail (7). The sliding wings are rotated around a pivotal axis (10) and supported at a carrying profile (9). The sliding door assembly is operated in basic position and escape route position. The device for confinement of pivoting angle of sliding wing is provided with flexible force transmission element and damping element. The device for confinement of pivoting angle of sliding wing is formed as wire rope.
