Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012113912A1] The invention relates to an electromotive furniture drive (1) comprising an energy supply device (5), a manual operation unit (7) and a mains isolation device (9), which can be switched from a deactivated state into an activated state and back, for adjusting movable furniture components relative to one another, wherein the electromotive furniture drive (1) comprises at least one reversible electric motor, wherein a speed-reducing gear mechanism is connected downstream of each electric motor, and wherein a further gear mechanism is connected downstream of each speed-reducing gear mechanism, and wherein the energy supply device (5) has a mains connection which is designed so as to be connectable to the mains by means of the mains isolation device (9), wherein the energy supply device (5) transforms the mains-side input voltage into at least one output-side low voltage, and comprises an isolation transformer or a transmission unit for the electrical isolation between the on-grid input side and the low voltage-delivering output side for operating the electromotive furniture drive (1), wherein the mains isolation device (9) comprises an auxiliary supply device (21), at least one mains disconnect switch (20), which opens in the deactivated state and is closed in the activated state, and a chargeable auxiliary power accumulator (27), wherein the auxiliary power accumulator (27) is decoupled from the energy supply device (5), connected to the auxiliary supply device (21) and can be charged by the auxiliary supply device (21).
