Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012113905A1] The invention relates to a microfluidic extraction device (1) for extracting analytes of interest from a carrier liquid (P) in a solvent liquid (S), the two liquids (P, S) forming an interface (2) between micro-pillars (32) of an extraction chamber (30). According to the invention, the carrier liquid (P) forms a wetting angle T1 on the micro-pillars (31) and the lower wall (11) of the extraction chamber on the one hand, and a wetting angle T2 on the upper wall (21) on the other hand, said wetting angles complying with the relation 45°=(T1+T2)/2=135°.
