Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2679309A2] The device has comminuting tools (170) that is cooperated with counter knife arrangement, and is provided to form rotation surface of comminuting rotor (100) equipped with tools. The neighboring comminuting tools are arranged adjacent to each other and abutting on each other at respectively associated lateral faces, and offset to each other on periphery of the rotor within a knife banks (101-104). The equivalent cutting edges (171) of neighboring comminuting tools is provided with same distance to rotor axis (A) and each lie in a plane that runs parallel to rotor axis.
