[origin: EP2679534A1] The truck has a frame (1) and an axle assembly. The frame has a tubular axle retaining structure (3) in which the axle assembly is accommodated. The axial longitudinal direction of the axle assembly is oriented transverse to the longitudinal direction of the truck. The axle assembly is provided with axis of rotation of wheel of truck that is provided in the interior portion of the tubular axle retaining structure. The axle retaining structure is symmetrically formed and is centrally arranged in the transverse direction of the truck. An independent claim is included for a modular system.
