Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2679535A2] The device (2) has a flow control valve (30) for controlling inert gas output and connected to a filling nozzle (40) and an inert gas source (42), where the inert gas is selected from a group consisting of nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide and a mixture of nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The valve is controllable between a passing state in which the flow of inert gas from the source towards the filling nozzle is allowed and a blocking state in which the inert gas flow from the source towards the filling nozzle is prevented. A detecting unit detects a drink level in a bottle (4a). An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a device for filling a bottle with a drink.
