Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2679756A2] The drive has a driven shaft (6) operatively connected with a leaf, and a spring device (21) pressurizing the leaf in a closing or opening direction. An engageable- and disengagable locking device (15) locks the spring device in an engaged position in a pre-tensioned manner. The locking device is formed such that the spring device effectively reaches a preset opening angle of the leaf. The locking device comprises spring pistons (20) dividing a cylinder into pressure chambers (22, 23) in a liquid-tight manner. The pressure chambers are connected over a hydraulic passage arrangement (25). An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a drive.
