Abstract (en)
An axial flow turbine (10) is described having a casing (11) defining a flow path for a working fluid therein, a rotor (11) co -axial to the casing, a plurality of stages, each including a stationary row of vanes (12) circumferentially mounted on the casing a rotating row of blades (13), circumferentially mounted on the rotor (14), with an inner face of the casing exposed to the working fluid having one or more essentially circumferential grooves (111) of increasing depth each ending in an extraction port (112) with a bore.
