Abstract (en)
The fuel injector has an injector housing (11) with a supply hole (20) to supply fuel into a high pressure space (17) of the injector housing. The supply hole is opened in a terminal portion (21) of the injector housing. The terminal portion is connected with a high pressure memory element by a supply conduit. The injector housing is weldable in the terminal portion by the weld seam (23), and the supply conduit is connected to the weld seam, such that the terminal portion of the injector housing with the supply conduit is formed as single component. An independent claim is included for a fuel injection system.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kraftstoffinjektor (10; 10a; 10b), mit einem Injektorgehäuse (11), das eine Zuführbohrung (20; 26; 29) zum Zuführen von Kraftstoff in einen Hochdruckraum (17) des Injektorgehäuses (11) aufweist, wobei die Zuführbohrung (20; 26; 29) in einem Anschlussbereich (21) des Injektorgehäuses (11) mündet, und wobei der Anschlussbereich (21) mittels einer Versorgungsleitung (1) mit einem Hochdruckspeicherelement (110) für den Kraftstoff verbunden werden kann. Erfindungsgemäß ist es vorgesehen, dass das Material des Injektorgehäuses (11) im Anschlussbereich (21) schweißbar ist, und dass die Versorgungsleitung (1) mittels einer Schweißnaht (23) mit dem Anschlussbereich (21) verbunden ist, so dass das Injektorgehäuse (11) zusammen mit der Versorgungsleitung (1) eine Baugruppe ausbildet, oder dass der Anschlussbereich (21) des Injektorgehäuses (11) zusammen mit der Versorgungsleitung (1) als einstückiges Bauteil ausgebildet ist.
