[origin: EP2680293A1] The mechanism (10) has a moving contact (5) lockable by a switching mechanism. A plunger (12) automatically actuates a release lever (6) and the contact. The lever unlocks the contact. The plunger includes an effective surface (17), which is designed for acting on a control contour (7) of the lever in a phase of an actuating movement of the plunger for causing unlatching of the switching mechanism. The plunger includes another effective surface (18), which is designed for direct acting on the contact in another phase of the movement. The contact is arranged between the plunger and the contour.
