[origin: WO2012119952A2] The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a component having a carrier, formed from an organometallic plate, onto which at least one plastic layer is moulded. In order to produce a component where the plastic layer is connected to the organometallic plate carrier in a reliable manner, and the shape of said component corresponds, in an at least substantially precise manner, to a predetermined design, the organometallic plate is inserted into an injection mould and then at least one point on said organometallic plate, left exposed in the injection mould and onto which point the at least one plastic layer is to be moulded, is heated selectively, the at least one plastic layer then being applied onto the at least one preheated point of the organometallic plate using an injection moulding method when the injection mould is closed.
