[origin: WO2012123135A1] The invention relates to a charging station for electrical vehicles having a location determining device configured to receive location information, a storage device configured for saving location information and a comparison device configured for comparing the received location information to the saved location information. In order to ensure that a charging station generates measurement values having verifiable location information, according to the invention the saved location information is replaced by the received location information in the case of a negative comparison result and an entry concerning the changed location information is additionally generated in a log book.
