Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2684645A2] The screwdriver (100) has a rammer (122) striking a drive of a driven shaft (124), and a mode switching element (123) switching between non-striking and striking operations of the rammer. A sensing element (162) i.e. acceleration sensor, detects an operational parameter of the screwdriver, where the operational parameter is evaluated for the determination of switching point of time for switching from the non-striking operation into the striking operation of the rammer. A control unit (164) determines the switching point of time on the basis of the evaluated operational parameter. The operational parameter is selected from a rotational speed of a motor shaft (116) of an associated drive motor (114).
