[origin: EP2684758A1] The device (2) has a closure pawl (8) pivotably attached at a closure bearing (6). A slide rod (10) locks and unlocks the closure pawl for an adjoining switch tongue position and a far-off switch tongue position. The slide rod comprises a bearing-side arranged cam (20) for blockage of the closure pawl in the far-off switch tongue position and an additional cam (22) that is arranged at an end of the closure pawl. A closure carrier (4) is braced at a rail foot. The closure bearing is attached at a switch tongue (18) and pivotably carries the closure pawl.
