Abstract (en)
The furnace (2) has a furnace vessel (4) for melting steel, and a lid (6) for closing the furnace vessel. A pivot unit (14) moves the lid away from the furnace vessel. The furnace vessel is movably mounted relative to the pivot unit in a vertical direction. The pivot unit comprises a retainer (16) for releasable fixing of the lid in the vertical direction. The furnace vessel is mounted in a swash plate (8) moved in the vertical direction. The swash plate is moved by hydraulic cylinders (10). The lid is supported when closing the furnace vessel by supports (12).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Lichtbogenofen (2) mit einem Ofengefäß (4) zum Schmelzen von Stahl, einem Deckel (6) zum Verschließen des Ofengefäßes (4) und einer Schwenkeinheit (14), mit der der Deckel (6) vom Ofengefäß (4) wegbewegbar ist, mit folgender Ausgestaltung: a) das Ofengefäß (4) ist relativ zur Schwenkeinheit (14) in vertikaler Richtung bewegbar gelagert, b) die Schwenkeinheit (14) weist eine Aufnahme zum lösbaren Fixieren des Deckels (6) in vertikaler Richtung auf.
