[origin: EP2685202A2] The firearm has a receiver (5) that comprises an anchoring area with a through hole (10) which aligns with an accessory unit to insert a fastening pin. An associated anchoring area on the accessory unit has a collar that engages a lower edge (6) of the receiver when the accessory unit is mounted on the receiver. A first projection of the receiver functions together with a second indentation of the accessory unit and the first indentation on the rear portion of the receiver functions together with the second projection in the manner of a snap mechanism.
