[origin: EP2687451A1] Nestable U-shaped lid and base assembly comprising a separate base (1) and lid (7), wherein the base has a general parallelepiped shape, having an upper part (2) and front part (3), which are both open, wherein the lid (7) comprises three consecutively aligned parts or sectors (7.1), (7.2) and (7.3) separated by transverse, score lines. Both the base (1) and the lid (7) have cooperative fastening means arranged on the back of the assembly and on the front of the assembly, which could be a foldable flap that is passed through a window, and a number of tabs (7.5) that emerge through a number of windows (6), thereby securing the lid (7) over the base (1) and both parts can be separated without causing any tears, breakages or detaching that may damage the base.
