[origin: EP2687476A2] The method involves blocking the lifting gears (16) of the hoist by the intended movement of the refrigerated containers (1,2), while the set up-side commercial power supply is connected with the refrigerators (3,4). A port side central (21) is connected with a control system (20) for the crane via a communication link (19). An independent claim is included for a device for monitoring power connection of the cooling units of refrigerated containers.
