Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2687781A2] The surface burner (1) comprises a distribution plate (5) and a burner surface having knit fabric (3). The fuel-air mixture is fed from mixing chamber through the distribution plate to the burner surface. The distribution plate is provided with a control portion (4) and a main portion (6). The fuel-air mixture is passed through the knit fabric in the main section and unaffected in knit fabric in the control portion. An independent claim is included for method for monitoring of flame formation with surface burner.
