[origin: WO2012127055A1] The invention relates to a display mechanism for displaying the calendar number in the form of a large date, for a timepiece movement, comprising first and second concentric disks (19, 18) respectively displaying tens of calendar numbers and units of calendar numbers, the first disk (19) having a diameter larger than that of the second disk (18), the first and second disks being respectively secured to the first and second stars (16, 15) that each have a toothing. The mechanism also comprises a programmed wheel (14) arranged so as to rotate the first and second stars (16, 15), said wheel carrying first and second outer toothings (34, 32) arranged so as to cooperate respectively, at least indirectly, with the first and second stars (16, 15), the first toothing (34) having a diameter smaller than that of the second toothing (32).
