Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2830764A1] In order to develop a vacuum interrupter (1, 21, 41) having a housing comprising at least a first metal flange (2, 22, 42) through which a first connection pin (3, 23, 43) extends into the vacuum interrupter (1, 21, 41) in a vacuum-tight manner to a first contact (4, 24, 44), having at least one insulating-material housing region (6, 26, 26', 26'', 46), and having a second connection pin (8, 28, 48), which extends into the vacuum interrupter (1, 21, 41) in a vacuum-tight manner to a second contact (10, 31, 50), it being possible to produce said vacuum interrupter in a cost-effective manner with a compact construction, the invention proposes that the at least one insulating-material housing region (6, 26, 26', 26'', 46) is formed by a disc-like insulator. The invention also proposes a switch pole (70) for a switching device having a vacuum interrupter (1, 21, 41).
