Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012126601A2] In a photovoltaic system (1) having a number of phases (7) arranged in parallel on the generator side, the invention provides a first switching element (17) between a phase-end positive terminal (11) and earth (18), a second switching element (19) between a phase-end negative terminal (13) and earth (18), a measuring apparatus (23, 25) for detecting the voltage between the terminals (11, 13) and earth (18), and a control apparatus (21) for receiving the measured voltage values from the measuring device (23, 25) and for triggering control signals (S1, S2) for the simultaneous or staggered closing of the switching elements (17, 19), when the voltage across the first open switching element (17) exceeds a first prescribed limit value (G1), or when the voltage across the second switching element (19) drops below a second prescribed limit value (G2).
