[origin: WO2012126512A1] The invention relates to a method for efficiently and reliably transferring data streams in wireless communication systems. Two different system modes may be foreseen: A High Throughput Mode maximizing the link capacity for highest throughput by Adaptive Coding and Modulation and a High System Gain Mode maximizing the link availability for maximum system gain by sending the same data over a plurality of radio channels and by consolidating the data streams received over the plurality of links.
