[origin: EP2690223A2] The quick coupler (1) has a coupling retainer that receives a locking portion. A locking receptacle receives a locking portion. A self-locking securing element (7) catches and secures the locking portion. The locking element opens on reaching/exceeding a predetermined first pressure through a pressure control valve. A pressure control unit controls a second pressure greater than the first pressure and a third pressure lower than first pressure in unlock pressure port.
