Abstract (en)
The method involves providing a sleeve blank (1A). The extractor groove is prepared on the sleeve blank by a non-cutting production process. The cartridge case is produced from the sleeve blank. The cartridge case is formed with an upper sleeve opening (11) to receive a propellant charge and a projectile. A base (12) in the lower bottom portion is formed to receive a firing cap (3). The sleeve blank is made of metal, brass or a brass alloy. An independent claim is included for a cartridge case.

Es ist ein vereinfachtes Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Patronenhülse (1) mit einer oberen Hülsenöffnung (11) zum Aufnehmen einer Treibladung und eines Geschosses; einem im unteren Bodenbereich der Patronenhülse angeordneten Hülsenboden (12) zum Aufnehmen eines Anzündhütchens und einer im Bereich des Hülsenbodens ringartig um die Patronenhülse laufende Auszieherrille (13), offenbart, mit folgenden Schritten: - Bereitstellen eines Hülsenrohlings; - Herstellung der Auszieherrille durch ein spanloses Fertigungsverfahren, wobei vorzugsweise die Herstellung der Auszieherrille durch Umformung des Rohlings erfolgt. Die aufwändige spanende Fertigung der Auszieherrille wird somit vermieden.
