Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2527052A1] The method involves determining a discontinued wedge (K) and/or a camber by a wedge model (7) based on a breadth (b), an average thickness (d), a temperature (T) of planar rolling goods (1), and a variable e.g. total rolling force (F), rolling force difference (delta F), position difference (delta s) and offset (V), by a controlling computer (3) in context of pass schedule calculation. The variable is varied by the computer. The varied variable is transferred to a base automation unit (8) of a rolling stand (2) so that the goods are rolled in the rolling stand according to the varied variable. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for rolling planar rolling goods (2) a controlling computer.
