[origin: WO2012131046A1] The invention relates to a collector box for a heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, in which the exchanger comprises a heat exchange bundle with a plurality of heat exchange tubes (3) and the collector box comprises a fluid collector (9) with a flat base (13) for receiving the ends of said tubes (3). The box is characterized in that: the aforementioned collector (9) comprises two side walls (15) extending from the flat base (13), respectively forming a curvature between the side walls (15) and the flat base (13), having a radius (R) of between 1.5 and 4 mm; and the collector (9) has a ratio in excess of 10 between the burst strength and the height (h) of said collector box.
