[origin: WO2012130661A1] The invention proposes a metamaterial structure including at least one basic unit (6) including a mounting (61) made of a dielectric material, the mounting including an upper surface and a lower surface. Each basic unit is such that it includes an electrically conductive unit (62) arranged on the upper surface of the mounting (61) and including: a first C-shaped conductive element (621) including first and second ends (E1, E2); a second C-shaped conductive element (622) including third and fourth ends (E3, E4), the first and second conductive elements being arranged relative to one another such that the first (E1) and third (E3) ends are opposite one another and separated by a first space, and the second (E2) and fourth (E4) ends are opposite one another and separated by a second space; and a connector (623) configured so as to connect the first end (E1) to the fourth end (E4).
