Abstract (en)
The method involves effecting a local temperature change at a hole initiation end (11) of a round heated metallic billet (1) in temperature change zones (110, 112) that are arranged rotationally symmetrical to a central axis (M) of the metallic billet and radially spaced apart from the central axis of the metallic billet, where the temperature change is increase in temperature or decrease in temperature. A jet (21) is projected onto end sides of the metallic billet to generate an exothermic reaction, where a projection element (2) is spaced apart from the metallic billet. The jet is formed as a water jet, an oxygen jet or an electromagnetic beam. An independent claim is also included for a device for producing a hollow metallic billet from a heated metallic billet.
Abstract (de)
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallischen Hohlblockes (10) aus einem erwärmten metallischen Block (1), mittels eines Lochungsvorgangs (beispielsweise unter Verwendung eines Lochdorns (4)). Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest an der Anlochseite (11) des Blockes (1) in zumindest einer Zone (110, 112) eine lokale Temperaturänderung bewirkt wird und die Zone zu der Mittelachse (M) des Blockes (1) rotationssymmetrisch ist. Weiterhin wird eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines metallischen Hohlblockes (10) aus einem metallischen Block (1) beschrieben, die eine Halterung (3) für den Block (1) aufweist und die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Vorrichtung zumindest eine Temperatureinstellungsvorrichtung bzw. ein Projektionselement (2) zur zumindest zonenweisen Temperaturänderung des Blockes (1) in der Halterung (3) umfasst, die auf eine Teilzone zumindest einer der Stirnseiten des Blockes (1) gerichtet ist.
