The machine (1) has a path widening unit comprising deformable side shears (8) and a deformation unit to deform the shears between folded and deployed positions. The shears have a rod (10) extended from a side (15)/an upper portion (17) of a frame (2) and another rod (12) rotatively articulated on a support element (6) of a bearing unit and on the former rod around an axis (X3). The rods form an angle (alpha). The deformation unit is arranged to pivot the latter rod relative to the former rod around the axle while varying the angle between minimal and maximum values attained in the positions.

Cet engin (1) de levage comprend un châssis (2), des moyens de roulement agencés de chaque côté du châssis (2) et des moyens d'élargissement de voie comprenant des ciseaux (8) et des moyens de déformation des ciseaux (8) entre une position repliée et une position déployée, les ciseaux (8) comprenant un couple de bielles (10, 12) formant entre elles un angle (±), composé d'une première bielle (10), s'étendant depuis le châssis (2), et d'une deuxième bielle (12), articulée en rotation sur un organe (6) de support autour d'un axe (X2) et sur la première bielle (10) autour d'un axe (X3), les moyens de déformation étant agencés pour faire pivoter la deuxième bielle (12) par rapport à la première bielle (10) autour de l'axe (X3) en faisant varier l'angle (±) entre une valeur minimale atteinte dans la position repliée et une valeur maximale atteinte dans la position déployée.
