Abstract (en)
The method involves utilizing a handling equipment (1) provided with fixation units e.g. cross-pieces (9), and suspension units e.g. hooks (12), of a concrete block (14), where the equipment includes a post (2) closed by itself and equipped with a side access portion. The barrier is posed temporarily on the block to make operations of unhooking or fixing of the block to the equipment to be safe. The access portion is provided with a sheath (8), which corresponds with steps of the block when the barrier is posed on the block located at top of stacking of concrete block. An independent claim is also included for a device for placing and removing concrete blocks.

Le procédé assure la sécurité de l'opérateur pendant la mise en place et l'enlèvement de blocs de béton empilables. Il consiste à utiliser un équipement de manutention (1) qui est muni de moyens (9 à 12) d'accrochage et de suspension d'un bloc de béton (14), et qui comprend lui-même une barrière de protection (2 à 7) posée temporairement sur le bloc de béton (14) pour sécuriser les opérations de décrochage ou d'accrochage de ce bloc. La barrière possède avantageusement un accès latéral sécurisé de type crinoline (8), venant en correspondance avec des échelons (19) équipant les blocs de béton (14). Application à l'empilement de blocs de lest sur le châssis de base d'une grue à tour.
