The drive unit (1) has an electric drive motor arranged in a housing (3) and connected downstream of reduction gears and an engine controller. A drive friction wheel (7) provided on the reduction gears is drivable by the drive motor. The friction wheel is arranged on a carrier, which is stored in the housing. The carrier is displaceable or pivotable opposite to the housing into a maximum extended position. A portion of a circumference of the drive friction wheel is arranged outside the housing in the extended position of the carrier. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a building door leaf (2) a building door arrangement (3) a kit for retrofitting a drive unit in a building door leaf.

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Antriebseinheit für ein Gebäudetürblatt (2) mit einem Gehäuse (3) und in dem Gehäuse (3) einem elektrischen Antriebsmotor (4), einem dem Antriebsmotor (4) nachgeschalteten Untersetzungsgetriebe (5) und einer Motorsteuerung (6). Diese ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens vom Antriebsmotor (4) ein über das Untersetzungsgetriebe (5) antreibbares Antriebsreibrad (7) vorgesehen ist, dass das Antriebsreibrad (7) auf einem im Gehäuse (3) gelagerten Träger (8) angeordnet ist, der gegenüber dem Gehäuse (3) bis in eine maximale Ausfahrstellung verschiebbar oder verschwenkbar ist, und dass das Antriebsreibrad (7) in Ausfahrstellung des Trägers (8) zumindest mit einem Teil seines Umfanges außerhalb des Gehäuses (3) steht.
