Abstract (en)
The system (10) has multiple detection units i.e. cameras (18a, 18b) each having an image sensor and a focusing unit. A control unit sets the focal positions of the cameras in a complementary manner on a simultaneous detection of objects (14) such that as many objects as possible are detected in focus by the cameras. An evaluation unit (32) is provided to compose image data of the cameras to form a common image, where the cameras are arranged next to each other such that detection zones (20a, 20b) partly overlap and cover the width of the objects. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting a stream of objects.

Es wird ein Kamerasystem (10), insbesondere ein kamerabasiertes Codelesesystem, zur Erfassung von einem relativ zu dem Kamerasystem (10) bewegten Strom von Objekten (14) angegeben, wobei das Kamerasystem (10) mehrere Erfassungseinheiten (18) mit jeweils einem Bildsensor und einer Fokussiereinheit (20) sowie mindestens eine Steuerungseinheit (30, 32) aufweist, um die Fokuslagen der Erfassungseinheiten (18) bei gleichzeitiger Erfassung mehrerer Objekte (14) derart komplementär einzustellen, dass möglichst viele Objekte (14) von zumindest einer Erfassungseinheit (18) scharf erfasst sind. Dabei ist eine Auswertungseinheit (32) vorgesehen, die dafür ausgebildet ist, Bilddaten der Erfassungseinheiten (18) zu einem gemeinsamen Bild zusammenzusetzen.
