[origin: WO2012131103A1] The invention relates to a hygienic swab for the skin. It is an aim to provide a basic standard of hygiene for users of urinals and, for this purpose, to make available a hygiene article that can be readily disposed of in the basin of a urinal. The swab is formed from a shaped and dimensionally stable tablet 1 having an absorbent structure, wherein at least part of the structure has at least one substance or a mixture of several different substances in the form of granules or grains.
